It’s not vibrant

or muted

or vague,

it’s handling setbacks

in journeys made

It’s not distant

or close

or within reach,

it’s kindling grit

to extinguish grief

It’s not endless

or impossible

or elusive,

it’s a layover

to refuel for conclusion

It’s not dawn

or dusk

but the mission;

mindfully advancing

to further ambition
